Dude! Impressive start! Slow, deep and dark build up, and the hi-hats just make it more intriguing and kept me wanting to listen more. THAT is what I call a professional way to keep your listeners interested! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! The addition of the electronica sounds just made it even more sweeter! The tempo change at 1:43 was very nice as you kept to the original feel of the track, and that isn't something I usually grade high on...but this time, im letting it slide as the beat suits my mood right now. The repetition of the melody is alright, but the change up at 2:30 was a nice surprise as well...

Dude, with work like this...why are you not in the Professional's League?

Haha thanks a lot! I read this and it built my confidence up by a lot! And it's hard for me to get my music heard. Live in a small town with limited connections lol.

Nostalgia.

Enough said.

Kreyowitz responds:

Glad to be of service. :D

An absolutely flawless rendition of the Title and Potions theme, however...the Potion's theme in the game is longer and more powerful in nature :P
Check the chiptune of the song and get a better feel of the actual potion's theme :D

This little piece of awesomeness took me back to when I made several versions of this particular track for one of the most epic games in nintendo's history! I agree with the below poster, for an amateur, your work is pretty @#$%ing flawless!

JBeat2k9 responds:

Oh man thank you so much for taking the time to say that!

I just do this for the love of all things video game related!

Also, please, feel free to download this and distribute wherever you like. All of my work, and all future work will be free to download from NG, and all tracks will be usable in whatever you guys are creating, so if you're making a game or a toon, you're all more than welcome to use any of the music I've posted thus far, and anything I release in the future.

I know there isn't much to download at the moment, but I'm always working on more stuff to upload to NG, so feel free to check back once in a while! ^_^

Thanks again, JustShawn! :D I'd love to hear these remixes you've made of W&W! It's one of my favorite game themes of all time!

If any of you have an idea for a game-related track, or even a theme FROM a game, and you want to see a remix done, just let me know, and I'll get to it! ^^

PS - I take requests gratefully. Any idea, whatever the scale, is a good idea.

Not often do I hand out 5 stars to 8-bit mixes...but this one is just @_@ Wow!
The hype, the emotion, the speed, the hidden meaning....everything. Flows smoothly and has continuous pitch that makes you just think about the good, the old, the new, the bad, and the future...
BRILLIANTLY mastered too I might add!
5/5 5/5 :D

I remember your old stuff, and hearing this just takes me WAYY back to those glory days of 8 bit gaming. Nice mash up of the good ole 8-bit sounds and instruments you got going here...the beat makes me feel like I'm actually into the game and I love it!

A few more change-up's would have been a brilliant addition, but in regards to that I have no real suggestions, as the flow you have here is nearly perfect. It almost loops into an epic stream, just lacks that final touch at the end to flow perfectly if that makes any sense :D

Huge improvement over the first one!
Its been forever since I made any postings, and I come back to NG's hearing this...very decent.
I do however have a gripe...3:45, it cuts out and you have an extended amount of silence at the end. Correct that if you would please.

Naildown55 responds:

lol yea, logic fucked up on me when i bounced it, ima probably send this to a guy to get mastered and ill re upload it

*feels the emotion and effort put into this piece* [Downloaded]
This piece is actually something that I would sit down and listen to while writing papers for college. The atmosphere that this lil tidbit creates is most epic indeed. The change of pace at 3:05 caught my attention instantly as the general feel when from mellow, to mellow-dramatic, WHICH is a great touch!

I want to hear much more of your Works-in-progress :D
I look forward to many more masterpieces like this....don't shy away from getting an early, pre-submission review from your listeners :-3

Fictionalhead responds:

Many thanks! I generally just upload my finished albums to NewGrounds for people to use once they've been out for a while, so there's plenty of more tunes uploaded already to look through if you're interested!

You tried to give it a Jenova Absolute feel...while it's catchy, its too simple.
Not a bad revision that's for sure...maybe attempt to snag up some better samples? Im sure there are lots of remixers on this site that could point you in the right direction :)

Mau3000 responds:

Thank you for reviewing!
I really don't get what you mean by "simple" and, about the samples quality, well, they are all free, haha. I don't have the money to pay for good samples, so that's all I have.
You mean the mix is simple? Because this is a quite hard song to transcribe! Again, thanks for reviewing!

For a First Project, not bad at all.
The looping is surprisingly on key for a 1st-timer.
You had done very well for your first tidbit of awesomeness.

This isn't ambient at all...this screams Dark Side, and for some reason...the melody suits my persona PERFECTLY...Why 4 stars? Too short >.<

Still loved this piece...(been on repeat for a lil while now)

NGKFlower responds:

thanks. maybe i might try FL again someday, i know i can get the hang of it.

Like Metal, Rock, BGM Revisions & Mixes. Comical Flashes, Parody's, and anything that will entertain me. I will critique to the fullest, add some ideas, pointers, and maybe even assist you in creation of high quality projects.
