Another Great Piece!

For sure worth the listen!
Using only free sounds, it did not turn out that bad at all! The feel of this track reminds me of an epic battle about to take place. The intense stare down, the momentary insults being tossed back and forth...then that infamous Charge we all know.

The ending would specify the thoughts to ones self and your ending gives notion to the charge.

Put together very well, great sound, and a good mood to boot.

Keep it up man!

Now...this was for sure worth the listen.
If you were to play some of your favorite RPG games with this going in the background...Im certain it would fit the atmosphere. I would love to see this used in a flash for that instant moment of agony and anguish.

Love the beat, the drop off however at the beginning could be replaces by an uprising tempo or repetition of a bass drum or even a thunder roll.

If you were to give this track some thunder rolls through out even, would make for the most prodigal piece worth the listen over and over again!

From 2:30 - 2:41 the uprising is a good catch, add a distant crack of lightning if possible....and you will have it made!

Thank you! I like your suggestions.

No stars for you....
Why? Ryu used them all in this piece!

I can only pick up on 3 (or 4) instruments in this piece, and its VERY well done.
IF converted into an 8-bit or polyphonic, im sure you would be surprised with the end results.

Great job!

*jaw drop*

Err...what did you do to the best piece on STH2?
Its great, but doesnt exactly capture the original feel from the game.
Not bad however, remix it with similar instruments from the game itself and compare. If you can get away with it, toss in some sound effects at random to give it the feel of good ole side scrolling sonic games :D

SSBB memories...

Makes me itch to break out the Wii again...its collecting dust atm thanks to White Knight Chronicles 2...but thats another topic...

I enjoyed this loop, and the atmosphere it created in the process. :)

When you pick up your controller...

You picture some bad ass tune to go with the endless grinding of video game mantra. Hearing this piece has brought me back to my many MANY hours of endless questing in all the zelda games I have played.

This has re-awoken my desire to master ALL of them again!
THANK YOU for such an amazing piece!

MacMelto responds:

haha thanks! I hope your questing is successful :)

Has the New Korn track feel

Me and the wife like it, not a bad beat.
Repeats a bit too much, revise it with less repeat and maybe add some more background instruments that match its mood.

Different for sure!

Has a pitch of a lot of major action SNES games tossed up into there.
Lovin' the beat, and the melody it gives off...
Brings back SNES grinding days :P

The Elite Four...

The hyped version you speak of was usually during Gym Trainer battles until ash got desperate.
That was then, this is now...buncha anime designs on the pokemon....what ever happened to the good ole classic grind fest of lvl'n to 99 WITHOUT rare candies :D LMMFAO!

For SURE a keeper and a favorite :D
Props dude!

Oh I was supposed to be rating this most epic, melodic piece that I have ever heard on newgrounds. Very well done!

Like Metal, Rock, BGM Revisions & Mixes. Comical Flashes, Parody's, and anything that will entertain me. I will critique to the fullest, add some ideas, pointers, and maybe even assist you in creation of high quality projects.
