[Dark Battle]

The intro, you can lose what sound like horns.
Other then that, your piece is very catchy!

No worries, I steer away from crazy horn stuff mainly... this piece was a lot of experimenting.

A nice, disturbingly quiet metal piece.
Very unique and I loved the feel! One flaw, your ending dragged on much longer then it should have.

[Defy the Faith]

Love the strong start! Totally unexpected, and the rifts :o
The change-up's were also not expected. The melody has a DBZ BT3 feel to it, and THAT is pretty beast. The kick up at 2:30 was utterly unexpected, as well as the atmosphere it brings along with it.
Your Hi-hats could use a little empowering, as they are drowned out by the rest of the instruments, but it's still pretty awesome.

The mellow dramatic feel from 4:00 - 4:15 was another surprise twist, and fit SO DAMN PERFECTLY with the rest of the track...amazing work right there, the random change in your rifts also made it more interesting and worth the full listen, TWICE!

This takes me back to when I used to rock Shinedown's first and second albums daily.
This style of music is absolutely brilliant, I love the lead, the drums, everything!

Its good to see you back on Newgrounds, hope you stick around this time missy! Newgrounds could use a more feminine touch to the metal section ;)

I feel like im in a remix of a Matrix fight scene.
The lyrics caught my attention instantly, and the lead sounds excellent!
Cant really critique you any further then that. You have good material here, consider altering your lead just a little bit to make it more unique. Too many people have been running their leads into the ground with the recent releases, very few change ups at all.

Intro and Buildup was a little long for my tastes, lyrics...um....No Comment.
Your Growl sounds a bit on the side of throat roaring. (reference - In Flames)

You got talent with mixing.
Your mastery skills are impressive using samples. I can argue that your "actual playing" needs to be freshly heard. Just the way you piece everything together did wonders for my ears after some of the Ear Bleeds ive heard on here lately.
