The fade at the end was a little uncalled for seeing as how this CT could have looped literally in sync...but then again, not everyone likes to create loops for some of us that would throw beastly lil snipits like this on Repeat...then again...I am such a person to sit back, and listen to a few tracks that catch my ears within the first 01:30 of a track.

What I like what you have done with this piece would have to be the Modern feel with the chipset. I'm picking up on at least 6 layers...and a few blocks? Or am I misreading this piece at 0500 hrs? O_o (insomnia can suck it)

By far one of the best H'ween beats I've heard...or was it just a spur of the moment creation and release? Regardless, you have earned my stars and a follower...as I wish to see what other lovely melodies you decide to tease us with :D

Actually...I'm going to utilize this piece for a game I play (which has client side MP3, WAV, and MID files...care if I suggest your work to these IDIOTS that publish the game? I am pretty sure they'll like what you have to offer ;-)

Barzoom responds:

HEY :D.

I made this lil' jingle for a youtube channel, so up until like 2:20 the song was unneeded so I just faded it out. I do that with a lot of songs that are used simply for that purpose. I didn't realize this would get so popular haha, I should definitely make the compositions more seamless now to replay.

As for the layers, there's only ever 4 instruments going on at once minus the drums. I completely ignored the limitations of the hardware and just tried to make a full sound without exaggerating it. The metal style drums with the triplet bass kicks did the trick :D.

I made this in around an hour and a half as a deadline for my buddy's youtube channel (link in description.) Thank you for the support :'D.

Do whatever you want with it :D, if I get a sweet deal out of you talking to them that'd be fucking sweet.

For some god forsaken reason...I've heard this beat from somewhere before...I just can't put my finger on it. Was there an older take on this brilliant piece of ear tingling goodness?

It just takes me back to soo many SNES and SEGA games it's ridiculous!
The beat, the atmosphere, the BASS!! OMG THE BASS!
Windows 10 audio Codex really brings this beat alive when played in the "pre-installed pos music player"...but when played on a Windows Vista/7 computer...there are subtle differences that make you wanna reach out and slap the author...in a loving and peaceful way mind you!

What I really liked about this piece would have to be the beat overall seeing as how it actually has a Maze-like feel to it, and then there's that Over-World cruisin' feel you can get with it as well.
I do have a small suggestion ~ and that would be a Tempo Increase.
Other than that, you have one hell of a Nostalgia-enabling piece of tunage here and that gets 5/5 all around!

I'm not a fan of country of bluegrass...but THIS...wow, just WOW!
Very VERY VERY!!! nicely done!
The beat, the lyrics, and just the way it all sounds...mashed together...

FANTASTIC!!!!

bassfiddlejones responds:

Thank you! It's not pure bluegrass, but it's definitely got the feel. Glad you liked it!

A perfect loop! Would be epic as my ringtone on my phone! There's only one issue I find with this piece of ear tingling loveliness my friend, your lead is a little over-powering and the reverb is a bit high. Other than that, this little sliver of joy is just what I needed at 1:30am!!!!

If this was supposed to be for a tutorial level...dude...
I'm curious to see what else to lurk outta your skill-bank :-D
I have another interesting challenge for you too ;-) I think you'll like this as this piece would suit your melody :P I'll send you the link, and take your time with this piece because the energy of the track is right up your...heh, you get where i'm coming from bro!

4.5 outta 5 for one of my favorite NG artists!

Burn7 responds:

Hahah, well it has a very basic structure and it's... eh, "easier listening" in terms of melodic structure. So I figured it would work well as a tutorial, just a "Here's your introduction to the mechanics of our game".

Buuuuut our game was super basic and very poorly put together. So there was no need for a simple introductory music. Regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed this one :P

I also read your challenge, and damn dude... I just need you to be my old-skool game remix adviser because as soon as I listened to the piece I envisioned exactly what I could do with it.

Qtippery took the words right out of my mouth.
The overture of Fairy Tail is more upbeat, but the modernized feel of this track is alright. A little more touch-up and a few more layers will bring out the perfect touch this piece needs.

I'm not really a fan of trance/techno...but just something about this melody screams at me...
Albote's pointers were almost "spot on"...but what I didn't understand is what was so wrong with the intro and the variations that you DID use...

To be perfectly honest, the piece flows and the "distortions and randomness" that you took with this, is quite flashy and fancy enough to get a 5/5 outta me :-)

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

Thanks, glad you liked the bells and whistles on it, appreciate it.

EDIT: Using this slice of goodness in a Clip. Link to be found in your Inbox good sir!

Absolutely STUNNING! Screams you to the TOOTH!
You do some serious justice to the original I will say this much, and you're right! The high pitched single notes are always hard to hit just right, but the pauses aren't that bad to flow with ;-)

When you get the time or feel like refining this lovely piece of a Golden Oldie, I wanna be the first one to hear it! HA!

Which monster did you use for the leads? Doesn't sound like your original beast...or is that because my ears are still deaf from listening to my boss all damn day gripe about stupid #@%$ing things 0_o

Regardless, everything flows soo nicely, and just takes me back to when I'd play this game every day after school back in the 90s ^_^ Thanks again for accepting and putting out a brilliant loop!

Burn7 responds:

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this! I've just been putting it off for some reason, probably just because I'm not sure what to say! Other than...

HELL YEAH!!!!

Man, I'm glad you liked it that much! It feels great to be able to deliver something you thought up AND you think is cool.

I'm glad I could be of service!!! Thank YOU for the suggestion! I needed a project or something like this at the time when you asked. So it was fun for me too, hahah. When I was writing it I wasn't sure how crazy I would get with it. Because it is a fairly simple loop... But I didn't know exactly how far I was willing to take it. Because I've been known to take FOREVER to decide on ideas when I have them for something like this.

In the end I just thought "Huh, what would he probably like me to do with this section..." And then, laziness permitting, I would put it out like a something something prom night.

You need to come back to Newgrounds!
Your style is utterly unique, and there needs to be more music like this pumped out to the community. Dubstep has taken over...and other genre have taken a fall into the pits of hell...

This 3 year old piece is a refreshing blast of soothing sound waves to my ear buds...
Now, for the love of all that is MUSIC!!!!
Come back and explode our ears with your fantastic melodies once more!

For such an OLD track...for it to show up in my Suggested Audio kinda threw me off...now, what I find interesting about this track...is that there's some heavy indications that you had influence through 90's and 2000's video games...or is that just my earbuds playing with my musical emotions?

I for some reason pick up on the following games:
Sonic
Dynamite Headdy
Final Fantasy
Diablo 2
and...call me crazy...but...
Even some NES classics like Dragon Spirit: A New Legend =-O

Very Catchy, flows brilliantly, and the Volume is pitch perfect.
Shave up the loop maybe for a much more ambient feel :-)

I sense some heavy influence through Megaman games of course...which most 8-Bit writers and mixers tend to use as a base...but lo-and-behold...there's something MORE to this melody.

Based on the mood of the track, I sense inner chaos...a struggle between some life changing events, choosing this path...or that path...

The melody screams out to me in the Language of "Crystalis, Contra, MM5, Blaster Master, and lastly...Ninja Gaiden.

The loop needs a small brush-up, but everything else is perfectly sync in this lovely 8-bit beat. Maybe an MP3 conversion is in store? I can see this being a popular hit ;-)

Like Metal, Rock, BGM Revisions & Mixes. Comical Flashes, Parody's, and anything that will entertain me. I will critique to the fullest, add some ideas, pointers, and maybe even assist you in creation of high quality projects.
