Sounds like an epic battle theme...

Im enjoying the beat over anything else this track presents.

I feel like im lost...

Pretty decent beat. Give for granted it reminds me of dragon warrior 4 under ground theme in some weird @$$ way...but thats just me.

Cuzone responds:

I'm glad the song did it for you. I need to play Dragon Warrior someday... Man, so many games, so little time!

Has a late 1980's feel to it.

Makes me think of Kirbys Dreamland on GB, dont ask me why.

But the origonal has its perks and flaws. Just as this one...cant really say anything bad nor good. Its right there in-between. :-)

Keep up the nice work.

The Epicness of CaveStory RETURNS!

From out of the dusty folders on my desktop, I searched for the greatest 2D game ever created and played for hours after hearing this. You, have brought the old style of gaming back to its true monumental stand on the mountain of games.

This track simplely put, its 101% epic! I couldnt help but download it, put it on my PSP, MP3 Player at work, and ironically...a favorite in WMP. Totally excellent work, beats are perfect, synths are keyed properly, and the super sexy twist at 2:10 was expected to be sharp, but i loved the mellow intro! The way you pick it up from there.... *drools*

I would LOVE to see what you can do with a few other games with epic music that make you just melt! I would have to suggest you to do Quest 64's Brannoch Nights and its Battle Theme. If you have ever played the N64...this would definantly be a games music to listen to as its epic in its own accord!

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

One of the Best...

Honestly, this is one of the best tech. beats ive heard in years. Very catchy, flows nicely and has a very familiar beat to it. If you played any old school NES games, you should know right off hand what game I speak of :P

Anywho, lovin it. :)

Holy SHIZZLE!

DAMN MAN! Ive been looking for something like this all over the damn place! Ive tried to find one myself and couldnt find anything remotely close to this! It sounds SO MUCH like a Celtland Band playing with the way the instruments are totally sync'd! OMG I love the hell outta this! YOU have definantly got to do more of these complete masterpeices! INSTANT FAVORITE! I look forward to your next revision and/or custom track :-)

Well glad I could help out man!! Thanks a lot for that review :D

WOW! THE BEST IVE HEARD.....X_x

Im sorry, but there is someone on youtube whos got you beat with his own metal take of One Winged Angel. Yours is pretty good, but you know what? I said it above LOL!

I did however, LOVE the addition of the voices. Gives a good feel to advent children and the game itself. You should try to swing the voices to have less echo. THAT would be absolutly BAD ASS!

8-10 to you dude! ROCK ON

ProjectGodMode responds:

There's only 3 metal versions I know of and two of them I helped make including this one. The other one was the Advent Children version by the original composer.

Don't just say "there's one on youtube" because our original version of this is on there too which might be the one you're talking about in which case no it's not better. This version is far better in every way for these reasons: It's in the right key, the mixing is a little better, better drums and drum samples, better orchestra samples, the addition of vocals and better guitars.

Regardless, thanks for the review.

Intresting Revision

Sounds nothing like the origonal. The volume level is a bit...high, but the beat doesnt exactly come close to matching the origonal. My suggestion, pick the beginning up like you did around 1:15

Still, a nice mix and the added Hey! afterwards gives it more of a early 90s sonic 3 feel lol ;-)

Hmmmm

The beginning carries on alot, then the pick up is pretty good. The laugh is a nice touch in the beginning. The sound effects are a good touch, the bass could use a turn down just a little. It out-weighs the entire beat and kinda puts a damper of keeping volume at a level to hear the echo of the other sound effects. Im no remix master, but this isnt all that bad. Its catchy, just the bass is a bit much, as I stated above.

9 - 10 to you good sir
