What would have made this piece even more powerful, and this goes with my 100% backing on this one, making it loop to create something even more fierce, and brutal!

Shocking project you have here....no, really! Its a piece of work that I would come to expect from my fellow retro gamer's. When I first started listening I expected something of a repetitive nature, with mainly a bunch of highs and no strength behind the actual beat itself.

Excellent work you have here, and I hereby dub you: Kick Ass ^_^

Killingyoutwice hit the nail on the head and smashed it into the wood with his/her review!
The organs are a little under-powered and not used to their full potential, but while the rest of the track diminishes that defect overall, everything else fits together perfectly and gives off that ambient feel of being NO WHERE but in Gamer's Land.

With that said, you can expect me to be looking forward to your next piece! Keep at it, and bring forth the awesomeness that we deem Video Gamer's Greatness!!!!!!!!!!

What would have made this epic track even more epic would have been a looping structure.
While you piece is literally flawless, its a bit repetitive. If that was your overall intention here, you did a good job, but a lot of people prefer to hear something utterly unique and that brings back a general feel of nostalgia ^_^

You sir, have talent and I look forward to more of your work!

Very nice indeed! They turned out pretty damn good, and that says alot for a retro mix as you call it :)
Feels more like a monotone/8-bit chiptune mix really.

Still, just a brilliant piece, but with one minor flaw...
I wish it looped...woulda fit perfectly in my collection of awesome remixes. Still a great piece to behold by ear :D

Ive been working on a revision to this piece...then I find THIS!....

Everything Fits, instruments sound perfect, the change ups even give it the flare it needed!
SOOO very well put together, and well thats all HE wrote ^_^

Three things that you can do in order to make this piece much more "better" as you so calmly put.

1. Your loop is a bit long, but its smooth and fits pretty well.
2. Drums ~ They sound just fine, but consider adding a bit more through out the piece. Sections are nice, but if this is meant to be a drummers melody fitting for a cut-scene in a video game, I would add a little bit more of 'background' drums til your mains kick in.
3. IF you can (and would want to) add a faint mantra in the background to give it even more ambiance.

If these suggestions won't make this piece anymore sexier, I don't know what will!

I await your finished project :D

Where did I write "much more better ? :P" I can hardly believe I did.
And thanks for the three tips. Yeah a mantra is a good idea.
But for me it is very hard to get these ambient ancient sounding samples.
I dont know the plugins for them (maybe you do ?) and with the plugins I do have I have to tweak a LOT in order to get the right sound.

The clap is a little over powering at most. At the least, you kept the chiptune feel but, drug it down to the point where you can get the feel of a higher audio quality...

Who cares really?! It sounds good, feels good, and brings back those memories! Thats what making 8, 16, 32, and 64 bit revisions are about yes?! I though so, and I loved this piece.
