[Road Rash 2 - Menu Remix]

Not bad, but not the best.
While you stayed true to the original piece, you could have done some nice rendering with it instead of attempting to mimic the actual track in general.
This used to be one of my favorite arcade games, and spent only $0.25 and BEAT IT!...so I am pretty familiar with all of the melodies available to the arcade version and even the genesis versions.

Overall, you did a good job, but I would have enjoyed something with a bit more kick and flare to do a little justice to a classic.

[Super Vegeta Theme - RMX]

Talent? Yes.
Skill? Yes.
Earshot for the Original? For Sure.
Do I Expect More? Yup.

Very well done techno driven mix you have here of one of DBZ's best themes. What you could have done is tossed in some various sound effects to bring out the true feeling of the melody. I know that there are rules against adding various sound effects, but regardless you have done a good job to this piece. I do have one suggestion, clean up your ending a little bit more. I suggest having it fade out, and have your beginning fade inward to make for a smooth looping and a repeatable play on someones play list. Keep in mind, that not all mixers and writers like to do this, but with this kind of piece, it would be expected.

I dont know why...but the beginning of this piece reminds me a lot of The Offspring for some god forsaken reason. You stay true to the punk feel that is for certain, but your piece has a little bit of choppiness. You can pick it up early on in the track and with the drums up until about 2:03.

What I mean is you can hear the 'stop' for each instrument, its not a bad thing, it just doesn't carry out the original feel of the instruments themselves is all.

[A New Beginning]

Fresh start to a fresh year. Crispy, Clean, and heavy. Just the way I like it, and your work never ceases to amaze me. You did an excellent job here, but I do have one suggestion...consider adding a heavy solo around 1:45 - 2:15. Your pace change at 2:45 was a very nice touch and gave the piece its general, dark and devious feel that I am used to hearing out of your work.

But, a solo could be a great addition here...with some excitingly heavy rifts. Sure, the solo might cut into your prolonged ending, but knowing you...you are more than capable of making it mix together in a sexy way.
Just an idea, no need for the rest of my fellow reviewers to get hostile :D I still love this lil slice of heaven.

This has Bad Ass written all over it, and comes with a side of fries!...and a shake of violence >=)

Brilliant, outstanding, killer, awesome, etc....
A wonderful listen and well worth the download!

Has an 80s hair & metal feel to it, and the touch of "folk tunage" just makes it even better!

Good stuff you got going here, I just wish the tempo was a little more upbeat.

5 Stars for the newbie rock mixer (even though its labeled as metal)!
You did a damn good job with this piece that's for sure, but you do have one little tinsy flaw with this glorified, sexy illustration of music: Drums are a bit over-powering. They kind of drown out the rest of the track in general, but hey! Its supposed to have an underwater, pulse pounding beat right? Your lead is crisp and I like that! Not often you find newbies with talent. =-)

You however, need to loop it. That would be my only urk, gut wrenching flaw I see with this sexiness :D
