Get Jiggy With it!
Oh wait, this isn't A will smith track...
Anyway, love the way your lead sounds, and the drums sound equally nice. What really makes this piece stand out by far would be the atmosphere it creates. Decided to listen to some NG artists without headphones today, and this one particular piece has caught the mrs attention, and she liked. Shes particularly picky about her music and she liked this one. For that, I award you 5 Stars!

RobSoundtrack responds:

Wow that's some awesome insight!!
Thanks so much man; really glad you could both get down to it!
I appreciate the thoughtful review!!

Overly repetitive.
No real feel, and just doesn't do much for anything to be honest. The beat was a little too simplistic...literally. Listening to your previous work...this would have to be (in my own personal opinion) your worst piece...and its a career killer _._
Im mean, I know...but maybe consider removing this one and fixing it up a little bit more then re-submitting it to us?

daigonite responds:

I don't like this piece but I post everything I do so that people know at least what I'm making.

I think you're exaggerating a little though frankly.

You kinda killed your piece at 0:19...
The sound just doesn't fit your build-up at all in any way shape or form.
Your ending makes up for the failure midsection. I don't mean to be rude, but the whole track in general belongs in the heap of incomplete loops that don't even loop correctly.

I can see you tried...but maybe refine this a little bit more? Please?!.... -_-

ChroniusNightmare responds:

Idk sir. I think the four people who've already downloaded this has a different opinion than you. Not everything has to be a certain way for people to like. We are all different in that respect.

Music from the homeland!
Flows effortlessly, and sounds equally great!
This takes me back to my Quest 64 days (given that the music IS in .mid sadly)...city of Normoon *shrugs*

Brilliant piece and keep up the good work!

Mattashi responds:

Thank you! :)

O.o
What....the...@#$%!!!
You created this piece simply off memory alone? TALENT!
Being a all time favorite MM4 track? Indeed!!
Just listening to this piece makes me want to dig around in my emulator folder just to find this game so I can do some heavy X smashing lol

Nothing more needs to be said about this mix. Its priceless and very well done!

I feel the original piece here in your work, and I can feel it to the core. Excellent revision you have here, and I like how you enhanced the instruments to just the right pitch, and kept the beat about the same. What I did find a little distressing about this particular piece is...uh, well....
*thinks for about a minute*
*shrugs* Nothing. Good work!

Your intro drags on...a little more than what would be considered sufficient. The bass in your melody is a little over-powering, even using headphones. The mix in general is actually quite good minus those flaws...out of the countless, thousands of Flying Battery Remixes out there, this one would place in my top 20 favorites. I would have to place you at #6.

You really do have talent, but I suggest knocking the bass kick down a notch, and shorten your intro a tad to ensure pure gratification from this melody.

4.5/5 5/5

You know what I hear in this piece? City of Ancients - FF7....from intro - 1:25
For That, -1/2 star...you forgot to state your inspiration!!!! Q.Q
I do enjoy the atmosphere this piece does bring forward, and the slow pickup after 1:26 is sexy.
Keep up the good work and lets see what else you can do to finish off this product of soothingly stylish track.

Halindir responds:

I've never been too interested in Final Fantasy games, so I doubt that was ever part of my inspiration. It's just a coincidence.
Thank you very much for your comment, Lord Shawn!

You know what? I should slap you with a Bass guitar for the hell of it...
Why? Because you got a smidge of talent presenting itself here and what you need to do now is listen to this puppy in a loop.

I see what you did there...and that short little pause between loads = great.
Lengthen this little @#$%head of a sample and keep those pauses coming as they make a nice build-up.

AJtheRipper responds:

Thank you.... I think!
